Barry Thornton's DiXactol Ultra

Barry Thornton’s famous developer has won thousands of followers around the world.

Negatives that would be impossible with conventional developers print with fine gradation and much less struggle with dodging and burning. The more consistent brown stain in the film’s emulsion masks graininess, too. This brownish colour gives more consistent printing characteristics with different types of paper compared to the yellow/green stain of pyro developers.

DiXactol Ultra replaces the original DiXactol. Produced as A + B solutions, or you can buy B + B if you need extra B solution.
